Social Rx Connect Receives 80% on the ORCHA Health App Review
ORCHA, a world leader in reviewing digital health solutions, has assessed the Social Rx Connect software solution for social prescribing services and awarded it a score of 80%. A score of 65% or higher means the application meets the ORCHA standards to be awarded a place in their app library.
The ORCHA review focuses on how solutions operate in the space of compliance and best practice. Rather than simply looking at any type of solution, ORCHA focuses on software that can run on a mobile device. This includes apps and web-based software, the latter of which is applicable to the Social Rx Connect platform.
Scoring at ORCHA
ORCHA rates healthcare software applications between 0 to 100 per cent. The ORCHA review adheres to three different scoring categories, which are explained on their website:
- A score of 45% or below, meaning an application has 'considerable issues or challenges and in its current form is potentially unhelpful or unsafe’.
- A score below 65% indicates that an application has ‘some issues that users should investigate further prior to using this App’.
- A score of above 65%, allowing the application a place on their app library of health apps.
There are several factors that are taken into account when reviewing digital solutions by ORCHA. The general areas that ORCHA assesses are data privacy, clinical assurance and user experience. Depending on the level an application falls under specific items are reviewed.
We are proud to have received a score of 80%, and continue to develop our software to meet the latest requirements.
